OpenMind Journal of Humanities, Arts & Creative Studies (OJHACS) publishes high-quality, original, and peer-reviewed research that advances knowledge across the humanities, arts, and creative studies. The journal provides an international platform for scholarly research, critical inquiry, creative expression, and interdisciplinary dialogue, fostering academic excellence and cultural understanding through innovative and impactful contributions from researchers, educators, artists, and practitioners worldwide.
OJHACS welcomes interdisciplinary and cross-cultural scholarship that explores diverse perspectives, contemporary issues, historical contexts, theoretical approaches, and creative practices, while promoting intellectual exchange and meaningful contributions to the advancement of the humanities, arts, and creative disciplines.

Editorial Approach & Quality Assurance
We are committed to high editorial standards and transparent processes. Key points:
- Default double-blind peer review to reduce bias (authors should anonymize manuscripts). See the Peer Review & Editorial Policy for full details.
- Initial editorial triage for scope, ethical compliance and minimum quality checks.
- Plagiarism and similarity screening on all submissions.
- Data availability and reproducibility requirements — include Data Availability Statement and deposit data in Zenodo when possible.
- Clear correction and retraction processes in accordance with our Ethics & Integrity Policy.
APCs, Waivers & Funding
The Article Processing Charge for accepted articles in this journal is USD 50. Waivers and partial discounts are available for authors from eligible low-income economies and for authors with demonstrated financial need. APCs are invoiced only after formal acceptance.
